Summer Camp
Camp Experience
Poway Summer Soccer Camp is designed to be a fun soccer experience where players will be taught age and ability appropriate skills in an enjoyable way. The techniques will be reinforced with exciting games and activities in a relaxed environment. New skills are then put into action in small sided games to full-.eld scrimmages. In addition to soccer, the campers will make new friends and participate in camp activities. Our camp is a great place for the recreational to competitive soccer player looking for soccer fun.
Camp Goals
Each camper, regardless of level, will experience a week of intensive soccer training (passing, dribbling, controlling, and shooting) towards the goal of realizing their potential. Camper’s will be evaluated on the 1st day for the purpose of grouping by age and ability for the best camp experience. Our emphasis is on developing a healthy attitude towards competition combining discipline, conditioning, and fun. At PYSL, we believe that steady improvement and a positive mental attitude are the hallmarks of a good soccer program.
Regular Soccer Camp Dates:
Week 1: June 24-28, 2013 — 9 a.m. to noon
Week 2: July 8-12, 2013 – 9 a.m. to noon
Week 3: August 5-9, 2013 – 9 a.m. to noon
Specialized Camps
Advanced Camp (ages 13-17)
Advanced Camp is designed for older players looking for a more challenging camp experience. Campers will continue the development of technical skills as well as tactical awareness.

Week 2: August 5-9, 2013 – 9 a.m. to noon
Goalie Camp
Goalie Camp is designed to provide camper’s goalie specific training. Camper’s will be instructed in goalkeeping techniques including diving, distributing, footwork, positioning and tactics. The keeper’s developing skills will be reinforced with various games.
