About Us

Poway Youth Soccer League (PYSL) is a 501(c)3 non-profit youth soccer organization dedicated to making soccer a lifelong sport every child can learn to love and play.

It is our goal to provide the best playing experience possible for soccer players at all levels.  Whether you are looking for recreational, competitive, or early development for your 5 or 6 year old soccer player we have something for you.  PYSL offers various programs throughout the year including a range of skills clinics and summer camps, spring and fall recreational leagues for ages 5-19, competitive club soccer leagues U8 – U19, and academies for both junior and challenged athletes (TOPS).

Please take a few minutes to walk through our website and check out all that we have to offer your child in the world of soccer!  We welcome all players and hope that you find us to be the soccer club that best fits the needs for your child and your family.  If we can answer any other questions or can help you in any way please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.  We look forward to seeing you on the field!

Best Fields

PYSL’s strong partnership with both the City of Poway and the Poway School District give our players access to some of the best fields in San Diego County.  These include three fully lighted fields and two turf fields.  Our turf fields are located at Valley Elementary School and Meadowbrook Middle School.  For a complete list of all our fields and locations click here.

Great Coaches

Vaqueros’ coaches are professionals that all have a passion for soccer and a goal to develop your child into the very best soccer player they can be.  Our coaches will work with your child to develop not only their skills, but their love of the game.  PYSL strives to give your child all the skills, training, and game coaching they need to develop and excel at the sport whether they play rec, club, high school or collegiate level soccer.
